MSC World Asia: The Next Big Ship in MSC's World Class Fleet
MSC Cruises' newest ship, MSC World Asia, is set to debut on 11 December 2026 as the third vessel in the line's World Class series, following MSC World Europa and MSC World America. She'll spend her first season sailing seven-night Western Mediterranean itineraries out of Barcelona, calling at ports including Marseille, Genoa and Rome.

Like her World Class sisters, MSC World Asia is powered by liquefied natural gas, part of MSC's push toward cleaner-burning ships across the fleet. Onboard, the standout design feature is a striking suspended LED dragon sculpture in the ship's central promenade - roughly 39 feet long, built from thousands of LED lights and mirrors, drawing on Asian-inspired design themes throughout the ship.

MSC has built a dedicated Family Aventura District into this ship, combining outdoor attractions with a substantial indoor kids' club and interactive game-show style spaces. There's also what's being billed as the longest dry slide at sea, spiralling down through a dozen decks.
